Lift platforms (or whatever the hell they're called) placeholders look silly, and there are some cutoff bounce mushrooms. There are other instances of cutoff, especially in level world 1-5. Goombas have only 2 frames of animation, which looks choppy. For example background seen in the first level, where hill part with bush looks miscolored against rest of said hill, and other cutoff areas. Graphically, it looks good, but there are some issues. This hack was just ahead of it's time, resulting in a mess. Some assets from NSMB that aren't ported are common nowdays, like walljumping, ground pound, star coins and others. That's understandable, since this demo was first released back in 2007, when there wasn't much of custom resources avaiable publicly. When you fall in a hole you lose about 2hp each second instead of insta dying. the cape spin kills enemys but without showing you anything. The cape, or airplane seems to go away when entering doors. the ground pound - so far i found no way to use it in a "special way". either remove it or give it the normal physics back. spinjumpng is kinda pointless when you gain 1block of height.
